Leena has amassed over 12 years of extensive clinical experience in the field of physiotherapy, specializing in Orthopedics, Geriatrics, Cardiology, Neurology, Sports medicine, Pain management, and Rehabilitation. Her journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from the Kerala University of Health Science in 2012. Building upon this foundation, Leena pursued advanced studies, including postgraduate training in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) for the lumbar spine from the McKenzie Institute of Canada. She has also completed courses in sports taping and strapping, further augmenting her expertise in specialized treatment approaches.
Throughout her career, Leena has held diverse roles, including serving as a team physiotherapist for sports events, practicing in private clinics, engaging in community outreach through rural camps, and providing care in long-term care centers as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). Central to her practice philosophy is a commitment to empowering her patients. She achieves this through evidence-based treatments, education on preventive techniques, and a hands-on approach tailored to individual patient needs. Leena emphasizes the importance of personalized exercise programs, which she believes play a critical role in fostering successful outcomes in her patients’ recovery journeys.
Outside of her professional commitments, Leena cherishes her time with family and actively pursues outdoor activities such as traveling, trekking, and kayaking. Her passion for culinary arts is evident in her enjoyment of cooking, and she finds creative expression through her interest in photography. Sandeep Marahar completed her Physiotherapy degree in India in 2004, and moved to Canada in 2005. She specializes in Neurological and Orthopaedic conditions or injuries. She is also trained in manual therapy with Mulligan Concept and Rocktape Kinesiology Taping. She uses different treatment techniques according to specific problems. Sandeep holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and is a Registered Physiotherapist with College of Physiotherapist of Ontario. When she’s not busy helping others, Sandeep enjoys painting, long bicycle rides, and spending time with her children.
Mani is an enthusiastic and experienced therapist with extensive experience in
neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy close to 20 years. He draws on a broad skill set
including joint mobilization, soft tissue release, taping, and exercise prescription for a holistic
and comprehensive treatment program for his patients from all age groups. He was a former
associate dean and senior lecturer in a higher learning institution in Malaysia. Mani has a
master’s in advanced healthcare from Liverpool John Moore’s University and Bachelor’s in
Physiotherapy along with a certificate in McKenzie approach. He is a Manual therapist who
strongly believes in combining practice-based evidence, evidence-based approach, and
contemporary practices in delivering the best possible treatment for his patients. Mani strives
to empower patients to take a leading role in their healthcare.
